The R&B Package is a curated cultural and musical tour experience that connects Roots and Bridges the roots of Black descendant history and the bridges between past policy decisions, community life, and the musical voices that shaped culture.
This experience places music at the center of the story, highlighting how sound, rhythm, and performance became tools of identity, resistance, expression, and community connection.
Throughout the tour, participants explore the musical contributions of both past and present artists connected to Trenton, including:
Pioneering vocalist and songwriter whose work reshaped funk, soul, and R&B
Powerful Trenton-born vocalist whose voice helped define an era of Black female artistry
Nationally recognized funk group whose sound contributed to the evolution of late 1970s R&B and dance music
